Matthews Heritage Museum

Located at 232 N Trade St, Matthews, NC 28105. The Matthews Heritage Museum is a wonderful place to learn about Matthews’ rich history. In addition to providing a glimpse into the past, the Museum is also a great place to learn about local towns and neighborhoods. The Museum is open three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Matthews Heritage Museum has an extensive collection of artifacts and exhibits. The Museum features a Lifestyles Gallery, an Early Matthews Gallery, a Community Gallery, and a Telephone Switchboard Story Gallery.

Matthews, NC, is a small town that has grown tremendously over the past century. While the town started off as a small village, it now has a population of more than 30,000 people. Matthews is located in the Piedmont region of North Carolina and has a mild climate. The community is also home to many national corporations. During the early days, Matthews was known as Stumptown. After the arrival of the railroad, the town became known as Fullwood, and then Matthews. The town was incorporated in 1879.

Matthews has a rich history that dates back to the days of the railroad. The railroad brought income to the community, and the arrival of the Seaboard Air Line Railroad later changed the name to Matthews. Matthews’ historic district is also home to the Charlotte Museum of History. This museum examines the city’s past and future. The building is located on the same site as the restored Massey-Clark House. During the day, the museum hosts art exhibits and performances. The museum also holds rotating exhibits. Currently, the museum is hosting the Pepsi: Born in the Carolinas exhibit. The exhibit will be on display from July 9 through 2022.
