When is ClearCorrect needed?

- some types of overbite, underbite, and crossbite issues
- open bite
- gap teeth
- crowded teeth
ClearCorrect Process & Precautions
The first step is to scan your smile. Your dentist creates a 3-D image of your teeth using a scanner. Then your dentist works with the ClearCorrect team to fine-tune every shift in every tooth. He can show you your new smile even before you start the process!
Once your digital plan is finalized, your custom aligners are made using ClearCorrect’s state-of-the-art printing process. We create a series of customized braces that apply pressure to your teeth, gradually shifting them and moving them into the desired places. You’ll switch out to a new set about once every 1-2 weeks according to your dentist’s recommendation.
You need to wear your ClearCorrect aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day. The only time you can remove it is when you’re eating or drinking, brushing your teeth and flossing, and finally when you are cleaning your brace.
You should not use very hot water while cleaning your ClearCorrect braces, it could warp the plastic and alter the fit, and affect your progress and the effectiveness of the aligner.
